Handstand, Inc. is an award-winning application developer of content, digital media and educational products. The company has offices in Mountain View, California and Austin, Texas. Handstand, Inc. has produced numerous apps for iOS and Android for both phone and tablet, and has created white-label enterprise solutions for numerous clients.

In 2013, Handstand launched Nota, an open, social and mobile learning platform for Android 7” and 10” tablets and the web, with iOS version soon thereafter. The application launched with a free (OER) STEM Fundamentals catalog of textbooks, furthering Handstand’s mission to promote free and open access to STEM learning.

Travel by Handstand, the company’s first iPad application developed in 2011, features original travel writing and was the Gold Award winner of the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation’s 28th Annual Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition in the Travel App category.
